With some of the best groomed cross country ski trails in the country, you’ll run out of steam long before you run out of trail.

The North Shore Ski Trails offer 150K of groomed trails winding through the woods between the Temperance River State Park and the Bally Creek Trails north of Cascade River State Park. Spectacular scenery, varied terrain and abundant snow add up to a premier cross country ski destination.

Whether you prefer classic or skate skiing (3/4 of the trails are groomed for both classic and skate skiing); whether you are a beginner, an expert, or somewhere in between, there is the perfect trail for you.
